Be transformed into Christ’s likeness (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Become complete in Christ (Colossians 1:28).
In Jesus, we have a new identity and a new purpose for living. This new self is “to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:22-24). That doesn’t mean we are perfect… we’re human and all have faults. It simply means we are choosing to follow God with more than just our words… we’re following with our hearts, our minds, and our actions. Jesus showed us what God is like living in the flesh and our response is to be transformed into Christ’s likeness, to live like Jesus (as best we can). People will know Jesus through us not because of how loud we yell but because of how we love others, how we serve, and how we follow God in all aspects of our lives. We are not just hoping to be like Jesus in the next life — we are being transformed through Him in this life, right here… right now.

I am D.George, first and foremost I thank my savior JESUS Christ for enabling me to deliver this testimony. I was born in a middle class family and I lost my father when I was a child. I grew up without tasting the love of my dad. Though, I was with my mother I could never feel her unduly love which every child enjoys, during childhood. I even lost the childly affection of my siblings. I was leading a life of loneliness. There was no one to plan and guide me into my future.
Inspiteof the lonely life I lead, I could shine in both academics and other extra curricular activities. I was able to complete my B.Com, B.Ed and LLB with a first class.
And in sports , I was a university Kabbadi player of KAMARAJ University for 3 years. I was also interested in instrumental music. I could play Tabala, Guitar, Violin, Harmonium and Drums. When I completed my graduation, I was not able to find a suitable Job. But, with my proficiency in Kabbadi I was chosen as the assistant Sub Inspector of CISF (Central Industrial Security Force ). I was placed after a toiled training period of one year. But that too did not satisfy me.
It was during that period of time, I got Almighty’s call through a god’s man from ISRO (in SRIHARIKOTA) in Andra. But, I was negligent about the heavenly call Later on, I resigned my job and planned to do my B.Ed. And I successfully finished the course with a 1st class .
During the year 1992 I took on a Brandy Shop for lease. My life changed, I grew richer, Proud ness and Selfishness crept into my heart.
My interest in Kabbadi made me build a Kabbadi team that was recognized as the Best team in K.K.District. This had been my dream. I was just top of the world and I began to enjoy every moment of life. This joy did not last long when we were attacked cruelly by a gang and one of my friends was killed. The most unfortunate thing is that I was blamed to be the first verdict of the case. Amidst all this I was doing my LLB , and I planned to take up my own case. But before the final judgment day was announced , I was put to life time imprisonment .
After I had gone to prison, I was announced a first Class in my LLB. But it was too late. I was already in prison.
Whomever and whatever, I trusted deserted me, strange feeling of loneliness and hopelessness came in to my heart once again. But this turned out to be the turning point of my life.
I started to strengthen my relation with Jesus. I was able to praise Almighty day and night without a break. I even wrote a song of praise (Sthothira Geetham) with 125*4 lines (psalms 50:23).
I could feel that, Jesus was transforming me from a man of flesh to a spiritual man. I was able to meditate the world of lord deeply, I go complete Deliverance from all the worldly pleasures. I could understand that the life which I lead was just vanity, and not reality.
By gods grace , I was able to begin the gospel in the prison itself . Many prisoners were brought to salvation. I was filled with the gift of holy sprit. I was able to withstand anything which rose against me.
Gradually I could hear the soft voice of Jesus through prayer, later on he also spoke to me about the date of my release. But my release date, which Almighty had spoken of, was earlier before the date my case was to be scheduled in the high court still, I trusted in god more than any one else.
As per God’s will and according to the measure of my faith , the Lord of miracles released me just on the date he had intimated me of .It was indeed a miracle of God because the very same Judge who had rejected my bail twice, announced my release .
The songs which I had composed during the period I spent in the jail, were all released as “Theiveega Arruthalin Geetham “- volume 1,2,3,4.
Many people thought that the love, involvement and relation I had with Jesus, would all end up after my life in prison. But that was not true, I never could be away from my loving lord as I had his anointment in me. I could not move even a step away from him. I began to share the gospel to everyone around my place. Lord also enabled me to start a new prayer band ” JESUS SAVES ” right on the roof top of my house. In spite of the many oppositions, Jesus Strengthed me in all my ways. [ Mathew 5:11,12 ]
I am not afraid of anyone, and I am sharing the gospel without any fear. My Almighty father is the only one whom I fear, love and praise with all my heart.
Almighty calls many to share the gospel, but only a few are chosen. I surrender myself at his holy feet to utilize me in a useful manner like the potter works on the clay [ Jeremial 18:6]
A roof top is certainly not enough to share gospel with a number of people. Day by Day, the number of souls to be harvested goes on in hearing at a high rate.
We here at ” JESUS SAVES ” are almost 250members, and we worship Almighty in a place where only 100 members can .
If we are given a spacious place for worship, I can assure that, even thousands and thousands of souls can be harvested, in Jesus name.
If anyone can really help us by building a church for us, and if lord speaks in your mind alone, please do pray and do the needy for us. Make the heaven happy [ Luke 15:7 ]
I have house, land and wealth but above all I have my own debts. I am ready to give everything to my lord but I am bound to give my properties to whom I owe, with interest.
As I was involved in a private finance business, I had lent huge valuables with mercy as per [proverbs 19:17] and I have even lost what I had. But I am with the one who is OMNIPRESENT.
If Jesus speaks in your heart, kindly help me (”JESUS SAVES”) in lord’s name.
***************Come lets harvest**************
“ Stop being anxious ” [Mathew 6:25] and let us create an anxiousness about salvation .
In Christ

Did you not know that I must be about my Father’s business” (Luke
2:49 NKJV).
Upon reading this, you may start feeling restless. Maybe I need to
change jobs. Perhaps I should relocate. I guess Max is telling me I
need to go to seminary…. No, not necessarily!
Again, Jesus is the ideal example. When do we get our first clue that
he knows he is the Son of God? In the temple of Jerusalem. He is
twelve years old. His parents are three days into the return trip to
Nazareth before they notice he is missing. They find him in the temple
studying with the leaders. When they ask him for an explanation, he
says, “Did you not know that I must be about my Father’s business”
(Luke 2:49 NKJV).
As a young boy, Jesus already sensed the call of God.. But what does he
do next? Recruit apostles and preach sermons and perform miracles?
No, he goes home to his folks and learns the family business.
That is exactly what you should do. Want to bring focus to your life?
Do what Jesus did. Go home, love your family, and take care of
business.
But, Max, I want to be a missionary. Your first mission field is under
your roof. What makes you think they’ll believe you overseas if they
don’t believe you across the hall?
But Max, I’m ready to do great things for God. Good, do them at work.
Be a good employee. Show up on time with a good attitude. Don’t
complain or grumble, but “work as if you were doing it for the Lord,
not for people.” (Colossians 3
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto
wisdom” (Psalm 90:12).
This past week my husband met with a life insurance agent because in
just five years our life insurance runs out. Life insurance is like car
insurance - you buy it to provide financially for your family should
you meet an early death. But if you don’t meet that early death, none of
the money is returned. As a younger person you don’t think about the
fact that life insurance policies don’t go beyond the age of 60 or 70.
You feel you will always be young - only others get old.
Because a person’s life span (the number of our days) is increasing, we
should be planning our lives beyond the age of 65 - not only for
financial reasons, but personal and ministry as well. My husband was told
that the average man (if he is healthy at 65) will live to be 85. Twenty
more years equals 7,300 days. That is long time.
December is a really good time to evaluate what we have done during
this past year - the past 365 days! Did our life and work reap eternal
results? It is the time of year when we should assess the results of our
work for the Lord and consider whether we have made the most of our
time, talent, experience and treasure. Time to think through and make
changes in our goals and plans for the upcoming year.
It is the also time we appraise our giving to the Lord. He has
blessed us with time, experiences, resources, talents, spiritual gifts and
network of people. Did we have an attitude of gratitude last year? Have
we used our income to help to evangelize and disciple and feed people
around the world?
Personally, I sort through my files at the end of every year. How much
time did I spend in the Word and in prayer? How many people did I
pray for? How many people have I been instrumental in bringing from the
Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light? How many people have
been discipled through the ministry I’m involved with? How many people
have been trained and challenged to go?
As I go through my papers and e-mails carefully, I become keenly aware
of what I have spent my time and money. Then I take time to pray and
plan for the coming year. How can I best be used in the next 365
days?
“Even in old age (the godly) will still produce fruit and be vital and
green” (Psalm 92:14 TLB).
“No matter what your age or health, your loving heavenly Father still
has work for you to do! He wants to use and bless you” - Dr. William
R. Bright.
Lord, God, you have allotted to each of us a number of days to love and
serve you. Grant us the wisdom to follow your direction so we can
please you. Amen.

HOW TO PRAY EFFECTIVELY
“Please remember what you told your servant Moses: “If you sin, I will scatter you among the nations.”" Nehemiah 1:8 (NLT)
Here are four secrets to answered prayer from the life of Nehemiah:
1. Base your request on God’s character. Pray like you know God will answer you: “I’m expecting you to answer this prayer because of who you are. You are a faithful God. You are a great God. You are a loving God. You are a wonderful God. You can handle this problem, God!”
2. Confess the sins of which you’re aware. After Nehemiah bases his prayer on who God is, he confesses his sins. He says, “We’ve sinned.” He says “I confess . . . myself . . . my father’s house . . . we have acted wickedly . . . we have not obeyed.” It wasn’t Nehemiah’s fault that Israel went into captivity. He wasn’t even born when it happened and he was most likely born in captivity. Yet, he’s including himself in the national sins. He says, “I’ve been a part of the problem.”
3. Claim the promises of God. Nehemiah prays to the Lord, saying, “I want you to remember what you told your servant Moses.” Can you imagine saying “remember” to God? Nehemiah reminds God of a promise he made to the nation of Israel. In effect, he prays, “God, you warned through Moses that if we were unfaithful, we would lose the land of Israel. But you also promised that if we repent, you’d give it back to us.”
Does God have to be reminded? No. Does he forget what he’s promised? No. Then why do we do this? Because it helps us remember what God has promised.
4. Be very specific in what you ask for. If you want specific answers to prayer, then make specific requests. If your prayers consist of general requests, how will you know if they’re answered?
Nehemiah is not hesitant to pray for success. He’s very bold in his praying. Have you ever prayed, “Lord, make me successful?” If you haven’t, why haven’t you? What is the alternative? A failure?
Is it okay to ask God to make you successful? It all depends on your definition of success! I believe a good definition of success is: “Fulfilling God’s purpose for my life in faith, love, and the power of the Holy Spirit, and expecting the results from God.” That is a worthy life objective that you should be able to pray for with confidence.
Consider this: If you can’t ask God to make you a success at what you’re doing, you should be doing something else. God doesn’t want you to waste your life.
Question: How are your prayers similar to or different than Nehemiah’s?
